Snippets of Serendipity

I should be doing something else right now. But maybe there’s a reason why I’m not compelled to do it right now. (excuses, excuses). Blame it on this blogging thing. I’m getting addicted to this stuff. Or maybe it’s just the heat talking. I should really start planning what to do with my two weeks off this coming month. I hope my plans of going away with my sister and friends will push through.

Finally! I got a copy of the Serendipity soundtrack! (Do check it out, its a great album). Hmmm….wait, maybe you’ve noticed that I have some kind of fixation with this word (Sere…whaaat??) This happens to be the title of one of my favorite movies.

For those not in the know, this was a movie starring Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack. The story is about two people finding each other and thinking that maybe the other person could be his / her soulmate. But how can they be so sure? Do you believe in destiny? Could this be IT? Hmmmm…well in this case, Kate’s character, Sarah, thought that if they were REALLY destined for each other, they would meet in the future no matter what.

I don’t want to spoil it for those of you who haven’t seen it yet so I’ll stop at that. I’m a firm believer in a higher power that controls our daily lives, and that everything happens to us for a reason. But at the same time, we can’t really just sit around and wait for good things to happen. We can make our own happiness, and instead of just doing nothing, why not discover things you could do to enrich your life? So that when time comes that the right person enters your life, you will have so much to offer. ^__,^

Man, this weather is unbelievable. Can’t get through 5 minutes of doing anything without working up a sweat. It does have it’s advantages, though, gives us girls the license to wear those cute, itty-bitty t-shirts, shorts and skirts (…ang init, noh!) hehehe…Anyway, my advice is just drink lots of fluids, keep things easy and don’t get yourself all worked up in this heat. Oh, and by the way, do try out this new shampoo, summer fresh by Sunsilk. It will help keep your head cool, literally.
